Voilà: Die heißersehnten Kekse, die ich gestern für meinen Zwerg gebacken hab!
Eine Wilde Mischung aus 2 Bananen, Grieß, Kokosmehl, Kokosraspeln, Chiasamen  und Haferflocken. Wurden gleich mal zur Hälfte aufgefuttert, was später, in Kombination mit Abendbrot, etwa dieselbe Wirkung auf ihn hatte, wie Speed! 😂 Der Abend hatte also noch ordentlich Wumms. Danach fing der Sturm an. Ist bei euch auch alles rumgeflogen, draußen?

Of all the chemical transmitter substances sloshing around in your brain, it appears that dopamine may be the most directly related to the neural correlates of belief. Dopamine, in fact, is critical in association learning and the reward system of the brain that Skinner discovered through his process of operant conditioning, whereby any behavior that is reinforced tends to be repeated. A reinforcement is, by definition, something that is rewarding to the organism; that is to say, it makes the brain direct the body to repeat the behavior in order to get another positive reward.
Most people think love comes from the heart or soul. The heart simply pumps blood, so love can't be created there. Where is the center for what appears to be a person's soul? The Brain. And what is created there? That's right--dopamine. What does dopamine do? Creates feelings of love and euphoria. How do we get our brains to create more? Boil it down and it's all just dopamine.

Yesterday i mixed sriracha with soy sauce and drowned my tofu in it😂 let me tell you, it was freaking amazing!!!!
I also had bread, potatoes, beans, a lot of veggies, some leftover guacamole and homemade ketchup with it... DELICIOUS 🤤

Yesterday i mixed sriracha with soy sauce and drowned my tofu in it😂 let me tell you, it was freaking amazing!!!!
I also had bread, potatoes, beans, a lot of veggies, some leftover guacamole and homemade ketchup with it... DELICIOUS 🤤

Selenium is a powerful trace mineral that everyone needs. Along with iodine, selenium is great for the thyroid. It supports the immune system and it's a powerful antioxidant. Adults need at least 55 micrograms a day and some people consume more, depending on their needs (it's best to stay under 400mcg/day). Although fish and meat are great sources of selenium, don’t be fooled into thinking you can’t get it from plants. As a matter of fact, there are an abundance of natural foods that are great sources of selenium, including nuts, seeds, and green vegetables. Preislich gehobener, aber manchmal kann ich einfach nicht vorbeigehen 🤷🏻‍♀️ Leider haben sie kein vegane Nachspeise mehr auf der Karte. Vor einigen Monaten war das Baklavan vegan & es war ein Traum! 1 cup almond butter
1 egg
1/3 cup honey or agave
2 tbsp coconut sugar
1 tspn vanilla extract 
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tspn baking soda
1/4 tspn salt
1/3 cup chocolate chunks or chips

⏩⏩Instructions

Blend all ingredients except the chocolate chips in a food processor until smooth, or mix by hand (the mixture should be thick). Fold in some of chocolate chips, saving some to top with. 
Flatten into a lined 9X5 bread pan or 8X8 baking dish and top with remaining chocolate. Bake on 350 for 12-15 minutes. Let cool and slice.

Eine Dose gehackte Tomaten

Ca. 100 Gramm frische Tomaten

50 Gramm Tomatenmark

A veces, cuando a alguien le dices que eres vegano, automáticamente piensan que sólo comes pasto y tofu y desprecian a este último porque dicen que sabe a cartón o a cualquier otra cosa; sin embargo, aunque a mí me gusta mucho así solito (sí, tal vez sea la única rara que le guste así 😂😅🤷‍♀️), hoy les comparto una de mis recetas favoritas para prepararlo, ya que tiene un sabor increíble y queda crujiente por fuera y suavecito por dentro 🤤 
Ingredientes: -1 bloque de tofu firme o extra firme
-2 cucharadas de salsa de soja o coconut aminos
-1 cucharadita de vinagre de arroz
-1 cucharada de maicena

Instrucciones:
1. Quita el exceso de líquido del tofu cubriéndolo con papel y poniéndole algo pesado arriba durante unos 15 minutos. Trata de que quede el menor líquido posible, pues así será más fácil que se impregne de sabor. 
2. Parte el tofu en cubos del mismo tamaño y agrégalos en un tazón en el que quepan bien. 
3. Agrega la salsa de soja/coconut aminos y el vinagre de arroz. 
4. Mueve el tazón de forma que todos los cubos de tofu consigan tener algo del marinado. También puedes hacerlo moviendo el tofu con una cuchara haciéndolo con cuidado. 
4. Deja marinando 20-30 minutos o más rato.
5. Agrega la maicena e intenta que todos los cubos de tofu estén cubiertos de ella (este ingrediente es el que nos ayudará a que quede crujiente). 6. Mete a la freidora de aire a 370º F durante 20 minutos (recuerda sacudir el tofu a los 10 minutos de que lo metiste). Si no tienes una freidora de aire, puedes intentar hacerlo en el horno. 
7. Úsalo como acompañamiento de tus comidas o incluso como un snack. 
8. ¡Disfruta!

Decided to make some brussel sprouts tonight so.... POOF! Kung Poa brussel sprouts and rice. Roasted the sprouts for about 20 mins while making rice and the sauce. Used sesame seed oil , garlic, corn starch, hoisin, chili flake, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar. Boiled and reduced all that good stuff then poured it over the sprouts and then tossed them back in the oven for a few more mins then poured it over some rice. Topped it with green onion and chopped peanuts

15 oz. can Black Beans
1/2 cup mushrooms, diced (optional)
1 cup Oat Flour, grinned
1 cup Rolled Oats
Breadcrumbs
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
Flax seed egg

.
Blend beans in food processor 
Add seasonings 
Add flax seed egg and combine
Add oat flour and bread crumbs until you’re able to roll into meatballs
Bake at 375 for 30 minutes

Today I started an elemental diet to try and get rid of SIBO once and for all. I’m willing to do almost anything for the sake of my health but I’m not going to lie, this is going to be a rough two weeks. But if it works it will all be worth it. In the big scheme of things two weeks is nothing! Day✌🏻of #darceatsgoesvegan and I’m seriously so hype about this switch. I do wanna note that this isn’t a huge shift in diet for me, I already don’t eat meat or fish, and eating dairy or eggs is a rarity for me other than when they’re baked into something, so there’s very little changes I’m having to make. Basically I’m just going to be more aware of those ‘hidden’ animal products in things, and opt for a vegan alternative. We’ll see how it goes I guess!

Café con leche con tostadas, un clásico rico y saludable.

☕️ El café lo corté con leche de avena, que es las que más me gusta porque no mantiene tanto su sabor (como si lo hace la de Almendra) pero eso va en cada uno.

🍞 El pan es de salvado, la mayoría de los de salvado no llevan ningún producto de origen animal pero por las dudas siempre hay que chequear! Una tiene palta y la otra hummus de remolacha.
.
👉🏼La palta es fuente de grasas buenas y otros beneficios que mencioné anteriormente en otro post. La remolacha es fuente de vitaminas , fósforo, zinc, fibra y muchas más cosas. Estos dos dips son rápidos de hacer y buenos para nuestro cuerpo!

Dinner from a few nights ago was so delicious and super easy to throw together too! I sauteed some red onion and red pepper and added them to some pasta and steamed broccoli. I also topped my bowl off with an @yvesveggiecuisine Mediterranean Harissa sausage! I have to say, I've really been enjoying these new vegan sausages! They are so juicy and flavorful; not dry like some vegan sausages can be. Plus, they're plant-based and soy free, so anyone avoiding soy can enjoy them as well 😊 (After the photo I also drizzled a little thinned out hummus on as a sauce, it just wasn't as photogenic lol)

El mito de que comer verdura es mas caro cada día se derrumba mas, sobre todo, cuando vemos el nivel de inflación... pero la realidad es que si te organizas y buscas TUS lugares BUENOS y BARATOS, todos ganamos (más vos, obvi)

- Córdoba y Pueyrredon (sobre esta yendo hacia el norte). Me queda al paso, encuentro mis amadas bananas "pasadas" a $20 los 2k (y a veces menos) -Corrientes al 3000. Este es un autoservicio muy bueno, ayer estaba a $30 el kilo de tomate (acá en casa a $60), 2k de papas por $20 y así... -Corrientes al 3300 (maso) lo mismo que mas arriba, pura oferta de calida'

🥦¿TE CUESTA COMER VERDURAS? Hacelas ricas y sabrosas, te doy algunas ideas: rebozadas, en tempura y fritas, alguna masa de pizza (de zanahoria, coliflor, etc), tortillas tipo faina pero con verduras, salteados tipo chinos, en tus batidos (yo agrego hasta zapatillitos para la cremocidad y no tienen sabor casi), etc, etc...

We're Linda (in the pink) and Alex, mom and daughter vegans and business partners. We have always loved to cook and when we went vegan, our creativity in the kitchen grew exponentially! There is nothing better than taking a dish that we loved before we went vegan and making it plant-based.

We're Linda (in the pink) and Alex, mom and daughter vegans and business partners. We have always loved to cook and when we went vegan, our creativity in the kitchen grew exponentially! There is nothing better than taking a dish that we loved before we went vegan and making it plant-based.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Mash the raspberries in a bowl. 
2. Add in the maple syrup & chia seeds.

☝️Asparagus: wash, cut ends, sprinkle with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder. Place in the oven at 350F for 20 min
☝️Mushrooms: Dice 1/2 of an onion, cook in a pan for 2-3 minutes. Add cut mushrooms, salt, pepper, cook for additional 5 minutes.

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY AND HERES WHY... 10 points to Gryffindor if you know what musical that’s from 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️ I’ve had the busiest most hectic day but it’s been so rewarding! I woke up NATURALLY at 5am and haven’t stopped since I’ve been at placement, sending emails, took Ferg training, contacted one of my FAVES about a collab (😏) and just today it feels like I’m living my best life! I’m so much happier when I’m productive and busy, I definitely thrive off getting stuff done! Tommorows also a busy day and I’m keen to see what the world’s gonna throw at me!! Today’s breakfast was a smoothie bowl with greens packed in and a cup of tea 😍 The smoothie had: Kale, Spinach, Frozen Pineapple, Frozen Berries, Frozen Banana and some water!! So yum and a great way to start the day! I also added lots of toppings to balance the nutrients! 🙋🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️
