If you want lettuce, you have to plant lettuce seeds, you can’t plant apple seed and expect oranges to grow.  Taking a minute to think about your words before you speak can change the  outcome. Speaking positive grows positive results, speaking prosperity grows prosper. .

MAN! My sweat game was strong today! Cardio Fridays are always a killer! So I picked the perfect day to try our plant-based 🌱pre-work out for the first time. I LOVED IT!!! ❤️It gave me that extra boost of energy this morning and it really helped me push through today’s work out!! I really gave it my all and felt amazing afterwards! I’ll never forget the first time I stepped into a gym after having my second baby .

I weighed 50 pounds more than I do today.
_
My first thought was - omg there are mirrors EVERYWHERE .
_
I avoided looking up and cursed when I’d accidentally see my reflection .
_
I feel bad when I think back on how little I appreciated that body.
_
I stopped going to the gym because of those mirrors .
_
I let fear and insecurities win.
_
I joined this program at first because i thought i could “avoid the mirror situation”.
_
But really , facing my insecurities head on , flipping the script in my head and learning to love my body has changed everything for me .
_
Don’t let fear win - don’t let your insecurities win . You are stronger, braver than that . And if you don’t need someone to believe in you, girl I can . Because I needed someone to believe in me too.

Has dejado de hacer ejercicio en un tiempo y ahora quieres regresar⁉️⁉️ estos tips pueden ayudarte:

1️⃣No quieras hacer el ejercicio que no hiciste en mucho tiempo, en unos días. Ve poco a poco... El cuerpo requiere de tiempo para adaptarse al ejercicio, además para que los músculos y huesos se fortalezcan, adquieran tonicidad y flexibilidad. Por ello es importante empezar progresivamente y sin exigirte demasiado, sobre todo si has tenido una lesión. 
2️⃣ Si el motivo por el que dejaste de hacer ejercicio fue por enfermedad, es importante consultar a tu médico antes de iniciar con tu rutina.

3️⃣define tu objetivo. Ya sea correr, entrenar pesas. Cualquiera que sea tu meta, escríbela y déjala en un lugar visible como en el refri.

4️⃣Arma un plan de ejercicio; define días, horarios y lugar a donde irás a practicar. *te invito a @car871 de seguro te encantará, todo en un mismo lugar!!! 5️⃣escucha tu cuerpo!! Cuídalo es tu compañero de vida.

6️⃣ Cuida tus músculos. Inicia con movimientos lentos; si entrenarás con pesas, usa las más pequeñas para mejorar tu resistencia. Poco a poco aumenta el peso y las repeticiones dependiendo del resultado que quieras obtener.

Recuerda que la actividad física es sólo una parte de tu plan. Si complementas tu rutina con pequeños cambios en tu dieta, los resultados serán fabulosos. ¡Mucha suerte!🍀 .

Good stuff! Gluten and legs are two of the largest muscles so growing those muscles is a great way to increase your metabolic rate. Progressive resistance is key to muscle hypertrophy and bands are a good place to start if you’re new to this type of exercise. Ultimately, weightlifting via machines and eventually (if not sooner) barbell training is the way to go and easiest way to add a few pounds of weight the next to train. #MiloTheGreek #barbell

Sometimes fitness with a newborn is challenging! This day I was at the gym for about 3 hours and was finally able to get a 40 min workout done inbetween class times when no one was around.  Better than nothing! I miss my home away from home but they my best to make it at least 2x a week. 🥊

Being a mom, I see how easy it is to consume my life with my daughter, always put her first, and see my health slip to the back burner. While my daughter is my number one, in order to be the mom I want to be, I have to focus on myself and my health.

For me to be happy and have the energy I need to keep up with her ever moving personality, I need to remember to focus on myself too. Me time, even for a few minutes, is so important and makes me a better mom to my daughter. Focusing on healthy choices with my fitness and nutrition, is another way I put a priority on myself. And, you dint have to do it alone. Incorporate your family into your healthy journey. Go on walks, cook dinner together, do a family workout. I always try to find the best of both worlds!

The best project you can work on is definitely yourself. Have you made yourself a priority lately, if not, how can you incorporate that into your everyday and busy life?

Oggi vi propongo una ricetta veloce e golosa, ideale anche per i bimbi, una ricetta che mi capita si fare abbastanza spesso, ma che @fitwithfunitaly
mi ha riportato alla mente qualche giorno fa 
POLPETTE DI MERLUZZO E CAROTE
Per prepararle ho frullato circa 400g di merluzzo e 4 carote lesse, ho aggiunto un po' di pangrattato, mezzo bicchiere di albume, paprika, sale, pepe, curcuma e origano. Ho mischiato tutto, formato le polpette e le ho ricoperte di pangrattato. Le ho cotte in forno per 20 minuti a 180° e le ho accompagnate con iceberg è una salsina fatta con un cucchiaio di skyr bianco e una spruzzata di salsa barbecue.
Erano favolosamente morbide e gustose 😋😋😋😋 Buon pomeriggio

Long story short I finally ordered @Tropeaka protein powder, salted caramel because I love salted caramel ice cream. 
My order came in, I opened the box, blended it with a banana and chia seeds and downed it all in less than 30 seconds.

Doesn't taste like salted caramel ice cream but definitely caramel but definitely caramel-yy.

The pelvic floor is the base of the core. It consists of the muscles responsible for the pelvic organs (bladder, intestines, uterus etc). These muscles weaken during pregnancy from the weight of the baby and get stretched during childbirth.

Correctly strengthening these muscles will help keep the core strong, prevent back pain & most importantly preventing peeing when you sneeze 🤧😂

Give these exercises a try 💪 (10 reps of each and repeat 3 times if able). Form is important, keep the TVAs (transverse abdominis) engaged and pelvic floor lifted. Start at a nice slow pace and focus on building back up your strength.
